Materials of Modular Cabin
Teknik Kabin Modular cabins were designed by European engineers and
modified for some details by us. The general materials of modular cabins
are glass fiber reinforced polyester, polyurethane foam, aluminum
profiles and steel chassis.
The material "fiberglass, glassfiber, glassfiber reinforced polyester,
fiberglass reinforced polyester" is a kind of termoset material and a
mixture of polyester and glass chops. In this mixture the main
reinforcement material is chopped glass, and the bounding material is
polyester. With a chemical reaction the mixture cured under certain
conditions to form a rigid and very strength new hybrid material. New
material FRP has a very good strength and thermal characteristics for
modular cabins. With the aid of special moulds FRP material takes the
shape of cabin panels for a good designed modular cabin.
Between the skins of Glassfiber reinforced polyester panels polyurethane
foam is applied and cured to get the benefit of sandwich construction
and the thermal isolation of polyurethane foam.
The aluminum material used for door and window systems is from the first
class aluminum profiles. They are electrostatically painted with white
during the normal production steps. Glasses are 4mm thick and tempered
against the harm when broken.
Assembly system based on screws, bolts and nuts. Fixing elements are
plated against the corrosion.
Modular cabin based on a steel chassis and there is a fiber cement plate
on the chassis. Fiber cement material is resistant against the humidity,
corruption and insects.
Cabins have an inside electricity system assembled with swiches, plugs,
lamp and telephone socket.
